How Do I Apply?
Every spring, the Nominations and Elections Committee issues a Call for Nominations to our membership for various available Board of Directors positions. Nominations may be made by individual members (self-nominations) or by petition. All nominations must include the nominee’s personal data, verification of eligibility, and a statement outlining the individual’s responses to the Nomination Form.
Individual nominations are evaluated by the past president, president and president-elect to be presented to members in July for voting. The Nominations and Elections Committee evaluates all candidates and submits a recommended slate for the Board of Directors. Members then vote on whether or not to adopt the new Board. If no petitioned nominations are received within 10 days’ notice, the slate shall be declared elected and will be introduced at the Annual Meet the Board Event.
